Senior Infrastructure Analyst

The Senior Infrastructure Analyst is an onsite contract position at Washington Navy Yard, Washington, DC, with an annual salary range of $95,000–$140,000 and 10% travel. The role supports Navy shore infrastructure planning and readiness for the transition from Ohio-class to Columbia-class submarines. The analyst coordinates facility scope, readiness, funding, and transition planning across Navy program offices, installations, shipyards, and refit facilities. This work helps ensure shore assets and infrastructure are prepared to support submarine maintenance and the strategic deterrence mission.

What you'll do

• Lead shore infrastructure, facility modification, and refit-facility readiness initiatives
• draft and manage transition agreements
• coordinate readiness reviews at refit facilities, shipyards, and warfare centers
• review program funding requirements for infrastructure and facility needs
• assess lessons from prior ship-class transitions
• serve as liaison among Navy program offices, NAVFAC, CNIC, commands, and facility leadership.

Why this role

Requires a bachelor’s or advanced degree in engineering, operations research, business administration, or a related technical field; at least 10 years of relevant experience; and significant support experience with U.S. Navy submarine programs, naval installations, or fleet support. Travel is 10%.
