What you'll do

• Lead scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, servicing, and repair of production equipment with minimal supervision
• troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and controls issues
• modify equipment or processes to improve operation
• assist manufacturing engineers with equipment qualification, debugging, and repair
• source and purchase maintenance components
• machine or modify mechanical components and fixtures
• liaise with service contractors and vendors
• ensure semi-automated systems function properly
• monitor equipment performance and correct issues affecting product quality or yield
• document preventive maintenance results and corrective actions in CMMS
• may train peers.
