What you'll do

• Program, set up, and operate 3-, 4-, or 5-axis CNC milling machines
• use CAD-to-CAM software to generate, edit, and optimize G-code and M-code
• select cutting tools, speeds, feeds, and fixtures
• perform first-piece inspections and in-process checks
• troubleshoot machining issues, tool wear, and program errors
• maintain equipment and perform routine preventive maintenance.
