The Male Caregiver — Home Care role is onsite in Fairfax, VA. Pay is $16–$18 per hour. Decena Home Care supports clients in remaining safely at home and describes a focus on training, care quality, and work-life balance. The caregiver provides hands-on assistance with personal care and daily activities while helping maintain client safety and comfort. The role also supports new cases, introduces permanent caregivers to families, coaches peers, and documents care updates for the Care Manager.

What you'll do

• Launch new cases
• introduce permanent caregivers to families
• model care techniques
• assist clients with hygiene, mobility, light exercise, meals, housekeeping, errands, and medication reminders
• complete home-safety assessments and quality-assurance visits
• document care-plan updates
• train and onboard caregivers
• coach peers
• serve on the on-call rotation to triage call-outs, fill urgent shifts, and address client concerns after hours
• communicate changes in client condition and keep families informed.
