The Cardiac Care Registered Nurse (RN) role is onsite in Kansas City, MO, with day or night schedules and rotating weekends. Compensation is $30.04 to $41.50 per hour, with stated night and weekend shift differentials. The cardiac unit cares for patients recovering from cardiac and vascular procedures and serves a comprehensive stroke and STEMI receiving facility. The RN coordinates and delivers individualized care, monitors cardiac rhythms, administers ordered medications and treatments, and educates patients and families. Working with physicians and interdisciplinary colleagues, the nurse supports safe recovery and positive outcomes for high-acuity cardiac patients.

What you'll do

• Coordinate and deliver individualized nursing care
• monitor cardiac rhythms and recognize changes in condition
• care for patients recovering from cardiac surgeries and procedures
• administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
• document care
• communicate with interdisciplinary team members
• demonstrate clinical judgment and accountability.
