Senior Collections Specialist

What you'll do

• Oversee receipt of current-month Housing Choice Voucher payments by the 10th and prioritize mid-month payment processing within 48 hours
• oversee Section 8 billing setup for future updates
• analyze voucher and past-resident collection reports
• improve systems for rent changes and charge adjustments
• manage abated units with voucher specialists and site managers
• maintain relationships with local HUD offices
• coordinate third-party payments
• oversee past-resident collection files and agencies
• document communications and prioritize collection strategies across the portfolio.
