The Aircraft Mechanic I – General/Disassembly – Night Shift role is an onsite, full-time position in Elizabeth City, NC. Pay is $44.45 per hour plus a $1.25-per-hour night shift premium. The position provides aircraft maintenance services for the U.S. Coast Guard Aviation Logistics Center’s Short-Range Recovery Division.

What you'll do

• Disassemble aircraft for the program depot maintenance process and route required parts
• perform aircraft mechanical duties, repairs, and maintenance on mechanical, fuel, and hydraulic systems
• conduct flight-line maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and repairs
• follow work orders and technical guides
• demonstrate safe work methods
• maintain tools and a clean work area
• perform other aircraft maintenance duties as required.
