This position supports the Navy-Marine Corps Intranet (NGEN) under the SMIT program, providing critical network engineering and field services support. This role exists to maintain and optimize network infrastructure for mission-critical operations. By performing installation, testing, and troubleshooting of network equipment, the administrator ensures reliable connectivity and performance for Navy staff, including senior leadership.
