Surgery Center Administrator

Job overview

The Surgery Center Administrator role is onsite in Richmond, VA. Compensation is $130,000–$150,000 per year. The Administrator oversees the surgery center’s administrative functions and day-to-day operations. The role exists to keep the center’s operations, staffing, regulatory compliance, and quality processes coordinated so it can provide efficient and effective patient care. The Administrator works with clinical and executive leaders, physicians, and committees to maintain standards and support the center’s operations.

What you'll do

• Supervise administrative employees, including recruitment, selection, training, supervision, and retention
• maintain compliance with policies and regulatory and accrediting requirements
• coordinate with clinical leaders on standards of care
• maintain physician relationships
• oversee inventory, equipment, front desk, procurement, facilities, and daily operations
• support staff development, safety, quality improvement, and adverse incident reporting
• serve as liaison with hospitals and the community
• may act as a Registered Nurse in preoperative, postoperative, or operating room settings as needed.

Why this role
