Clinical Laboratory Scientist, High-Complexity Testing

The Clinical Laboratory Scientist role is onsite in Palo Alto, CA, with compensation of $55–$65 per hour. DELFI Diagnostics develops blood-based tests intended to help detect cancer and is building clinical laboratory capacity to launch products for clinical use. The scientist performs high-complexity cancer testing using next-generation sequencing, supports reliable reporting of patient results, and works with automation, assay development, and technology-transfer scientists to build scalable laboratory operations.

What you'll do

• Perform and report laboratory tests and analyses under approved procedures
• troubleshoot high-complexity testing issues
• document reagent manufacturing and qualification
• inspect, calibrate, and maintain instruments
• train laboratory personnel
• and coordinate laboratory equipment installation, qualification, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
