South Florida Autism Charter School serves students with profound autism through a comprehensive therapeutic approach. The aide supports the Lead Teacher with instruction, classroom routines, student supervision, and personal care as needed. The role helps maintain a safe, organized learning environment and supports students’ daily school activities.

What you'll do

• Assist the Lead Teacher with instructional activities, lesson plans, and classroom routines
• prepare and maintain classroom materials and organization
• supervise students and report concerns
• support hygiene, toileting, feeding, and dressing as needed
• maintain a clean and safe classroom
• attend required staff meetings, training, and professional development
• perform related duties as assigned.
