What you'll do

• Call on prospective customers from company-provided lists
• answer customer calls and fill orders from inventory
• use computer and CD-ROM parts information to check availability, pricing, and substitutions
• advise customers about parts replacement needs using relevant bulletins and updates
• stock parts on outside vans and pickups
• check customer credit availability
• collect past-due payments and accept cash or COD payments at delivery
• inspect returned parts or cores and issue credits
• research accounts and potential customers
• complete warranty paperwork
• keep the vehicle clean, presentable, and maintained. Parts delivery may be required as needed.
