What you'll do
- Assist with personal care and activities of daily living
- take and record blood pressure, pulse, respiration, weight, and temperature and report abnormalities to the RN
- assist with equipment, positioning, transfers, and ambulation as directed
- follow infection-control and universal-precautions procedures
- document patient status and services
- report changes, incidents, and complaints to the appropriate care manager
- participate in interdisciplinary care communication and provide emotional support consistent with the hospice plan of care.
