VDC Modeler

Job overview

The VDC Modeler role is onsite in Sacramento, CA. Pay is $25–$30 per hour. Royal Electric provides electrical design, construction, and service, and its Virtual Construction team partners with project management and field leadership. The modeler supports virtual construction through modeling and drawing production, helping improve project quality, cost, and schedule by coordinating with trade partners, reducing field conflicts, and supporting accurate installation.

What you'll do

• Assist senior modelers and coordinators with modeling and drawing production to company standards
• communicate with the VDC coordinator and supervisor
• identify workflow improvements
• create clear drawings following industry and company standards
• learn and use Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Evolve Electrical, and Bluebeam
• organize digital workspaces and files
• seek guidance from VDC and field teams
• follow jobsite safety requirements and wear PPE.
