The Medical Assistant II, Behavioral Health & Psychiatric Float role is onsite in Los Angeles, CA, with a schedule of Monday 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Wednesday 11:30 a.m.–8:00 p.m., and Friday 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Compensation is $26.43 per hour. The role supports behavioral health and psychiatric care at Northeast Valley Health Corporation health centers and may require travel among centers as directed. Under a licensed practitioner’s supervision, the medical assistant performs routine, non-invasive clinical support and administrative activities. The role assists with behavioral health screening, patient intake and documentation, and outreach while following established procedures and maintaining confidentiality.

• Perform non-invasive routine technical supportive services under a licensed practitioner’s supervision

• use electronic medical records for intake, documentation, and scheduling

• travel to health centers as directed
• maintain CPR certification and Medical Assistant competencies.
