Injection Mold Setter — Second Shift

The Injection Mold Setter works onsite in Elkhart, IN, on second shift: Monday through Thursday, 1:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m., and Friday, 1:00 p.m.–5:00 p.m. Starting pay is $22.00 per hour, with higher wages available based on experience, technical skill, and injection molding expertise. The role supports plastics manufacturing production. The setter prepares injection molding machines for production by changing molds, troubleshooting equipment, and maintaining support systems. This work helps keep production efficient and parts quality consistent while supporting safety and daily production goals.

What you'll do

• Install molds and inserts
• perform mold and tool changeovers
• prepare machines for production runs
• monitor machine performance and respond to alarms
• troubleshoot equipment and part defects
• perform preventive maintenance
• maintain dryers, grinders, hoppers, and filters
• prepare and mix materials
• transport molds and materials using a forklift
• organize tooling and equipment
• communicate with production and Quality teams
• report equipment concerns and support continuous improvement.
