In-Home Caregiver

Job overview

The In-Home Caregiver position is onsite in clients’ homes in the South Las Vegas area, including parts of Silverado Ranch, Southern Highlands, and neighborhoods near Harry Reid International Airport. Pay is $18 per hour. Home Helpers Home Care is a nationally recognized home-care organization with a locally owned agency and supportive local team. The caregiver provides non-medical assistance and companionship to help clients remain safe and comfortable at home. The role follows established care plans, assists with daily activities, and communicates observed changes to the care team.

What you'll do

• Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, positioning, exercise, transfers, and mobility
• provide companionship and emotional support
• prepare simple meals and assist with feeding when needed
• perform light housekeeping related to client care
• provide reminders for self-administered medication
• observe and report changes in client condition
• follow care plans and safety guidelines.

Why this role

At least two years of caregiving experience is requested. Registered Home Care Aide status or willingness to register is required; CNA or PCA certification is preferred but not required. Flexible scheduling includes day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts.
