What you'll do
- Investigate reported claims and document findings
- determine coverage, compensability, and severity
- calculate and adjust reserves
- administer benefits and required notices
- develop and update plans of action
- make decisions and escalate issues
- coordinate attorneys, nurse case managers, investigators, and other professionals
- prepare referrals and settlement recommendations
- negotiate settlements within authority
- communicate with clients, providers, and injured workers
- collaborate on process-efficiency projects.
