Dietary Aide

Job overview

The Dietary Aide role is onsite in Fairfax, VA, with a day shift. Compensation is $15–$16 per hour. The role supports resident food service at Fair Oaks Health & Rehabilitation. The aide helps prepare and serve meals, maintain clean dining and kitchen areas, and manage food supplies so residents receive food service in a sanitary and orderly environment.

What you'll do

• Set up tables and dining areas
• prepare meals under a dietary manager’s or cook’s guidance
• deliver dishes and trays to designated rooms and times
• clear dining areas and collect plates and utensils
• dispose of leftovers and garbage
• clean food stations and wash dishes and equipment
• monitor ingredient stock and inventory
• help maintain kitchen equipment and appliances.
