The Machinist, Level I role is onsite in Knoxville, TN, with a pay range of $20–$26 per hour, dependent on experience. The position processes components for Aqua-Chem’s customized clean water systems for domestic and international customers. The machinist operates and programs machining equipment to produce components that meet specifications. Accurate fabrication, safe material handling, and participation in continuous improvement support production quality and workflow.

What you'll do

• Machine materials into components using machining equipment
• operate CNC and manual lathes, drill presses, and mills
• program CNC equipment
• use forklifts or overhead cranes to move parts
• measure dimensions and tolerances
• set fixtures and tools
• interpret sample parts, blueprints, and engineering information
• maintain housekeeping and follow ISO procedures
• participate in root-cause analysis and continuous improvement.

Why this role

Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM schedule; overtime may be required on occasional Fridays. High school diploma/GED and at least one year of manufacturing fabrication experience are required.
