The Class B CDL/Equipment Operator is an onsite role based in Powell, OH, with a starting pay of $20.99/hour. This position supports ConGlobal's global supply chain operations by ensuring the safe and efficient movement of shipping containers within the intermodal yard. The role exists to facilitate the loading, unloading, and relocation of containers using specialized equipment such as hostlers, cranes, and loaders. By performing equipment inspections and coordinating with yard personnel, the operator contributes to the overall safety and timeliness of freight logistics.

What you'll do

• Operate heavy equipment to load and unload shipping containers from railcars and trucks.
• Drive hostlers to position containers and chassis within the yard.
• Use top loaders, side loaders, and/or cranes to stack, move, and organize containers.
• Perform equipment inspections before and after use to ensure operational safety.
• Communicate with yard personnel and supervisors to coordinate moves and tasks.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following established protocols and procedures.
