Senior Glass CNC Machinist

What you'll do

• Set up and operate CNC equipment for optical glass components
• edit and optimize CNC programs
• interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, work orders, and process documentation
• perform setups, tooling changes, offsets, and first-piece inspections
• machine components to tight dimensional and cosmetic tolerances
• troubleshoot issues and recommend corrective actions
• develop and improve processes
• maintain work instructions and setup documentation
• support new product introductions with Engineering
• perform in-process inspections
• monitor machine performance and perform preventative maintenance
• train and mentor machinists and operators
• support Lean initiatives
• maintain production and quality records
• collaborate with Quality, Planning, and Manufacturing
• follow ISO quality standards and safety requirements.
