Activity Director — Resident Programs

What you'll do

• Plan, organize, and implement activity and leisure programs in line with resident care plans
• complete activity preference and assessment documentation
• attend resident care-plan meetings
• conduct admissions interviews
• prepare and post monthly activity calendars
• identify preferences and health issues affecting participation
• develop individualized plans
• adapt activities to functional or situational limitations
• plan community activities involving residents, families, staff, and community members
• obtain physician approval and maintain resident precautions and limitations
• support group and individual leisure pursuits.
