What you'll do

• Prepares patients for exams and procedures.
• Assesses patient condition prior to and during all radiologic procedures.
• Assembles necessary supplies and positioning aids for scheduling procedures according to physician preference cards.
• Tests and monitors equipment for proper working condition.
• Documents records and other forms accurately.
• Confirms that all persons in the room are appropriately shielded before activating x-ray.
• Communicates patient status to other staff.
• Performs maintenance of instruments, supplies, and equipment.
