What you'll do

• Assist with bathing, oral hygiene, dressing, toileting, and feeding
• take and record temperatures, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure when ordered and competency requirements are met
• use safe transfer and ambulation techniques
• assist with exercises and range of motion as ordered
• do patient laundry
• use equipment safely
• teach home safety practices
• recognize emergencies and follow emergency management procedures
• follow the care plan, complete assigned tasks, communicate with clients, families, caregivers, and the office, and report and document changes in patient condition.
