What you'll do

• Coordinate crew activities and maintain the vessel
• perform assigned tasks including bridge watch
• follow applicable laws and regulations
• complete paperwork
• identify hazards
• handle fluid and cargo procedures
• inspect and test safety, lifesaving, communications, and alarm systems
• stand lookout watch
• participate in drills and training
• support emergency response, first aid, firefighting, damage control, and security functions
• document incidents
• supervise safety programs and PPE use
• assign work and watches
• maintain emergency equipment inventory
• secure deck cargo
• hold a valid Merchant Mariner Credential.
