• Lead component selection, design integration, qualification testing, validation, and production release
• establish qualification standards and documentation
• qualify alternate and backup suppliers
• drive component cost-out initiatives
• manage project priorities and schedules
• provide technical leadership on performance, reliability, regulatory, and manufacturability requirements
• maintain specifications and drawings
• develop processes and metrics
• lead and develop a global team
• travel to design centers, manufacturing facilities, suppliers, and trade shows, up to 35%.
