Part Time Mission Logistician

The Part Time Mission Logistician is an onsite role based in Laurel, MD. The salary range is $82,550.00 - $149,225.00 per year. This role supports the Cyber & Analytics Business Area, Key Management & Analytics Division. This role exists to ensure mission-essential systems and equipment are accounted for, prepared, transported, and delivered globally. The logistician works alongside developers and mission partners to move capabilities from integration to operational use.

What you'll do

• Coordinate logistics and worldwide shipments supporting system integration, deployments, and system upgrades.
• Manage inventory-control processes for property received, shipped, moved, transferred, or excessed.
• Coordinate the storage and movement of inbound, interplant, and outbound materials.
• Prepare equipment for shipment, including palletization, green-tagging, shrink-wrapping, and documentation.
• Prepare and process DD Form 1149 and Government Bills of Lading.
• Track shipments worldwide and coordinate Arrival on Site (AOS).
• Perform property-management and accountability functions.
• Maintain the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS).
• Complete monthly inventory reports.
• Develop and improve processes for shipping, receiving, storage, and material handling.
