Clinical Dietitian

The Clinical Dietitian role is onsite at Beloit Memorial Hospital in Beloit, WI. Compensation is $29–$43.50 per hour. The position is in the Nutritional Support Services Department and provides nutrition care to inpatient and outpatient patients. The dietitian assesses nutritional needs and develops and monitors individualized nutrition therapy to support patient outcomes. The role works with patients, families, caregivers, and the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate nutrition treatment and continuity of care.

What you'll do

• Assess nutritional status and develop, implement, and monitor Medical Nutrition Therapy plans
• complete nutrition assessments for patients at risk
• evaluate enteral and parenteral nutrition needs
• document care in the electronic medical record
• respond to physician referrals
• collaborate with healthcare professionals
• provide nutrition counseling and education
• deliver nutrition-related training as needed
• review and modify menus
• participate in quality activities and discharge planning
• assist with weekend coverage and provide on-call support as assigned.
