HVAC Maintenance Technician I

The HVAC Maintenance Technician I role is onsite in Wareham, MA, with customer-site work across Massachusetts. Compensation is $25–$35 per hour, plus the opportunity for performance incentives. The technician supports HomeWorks Energy’s maintenance of new and existing HVAC equipment. The role installs and maintains HVAC systems, performs testing and troubleshooting, and calibrates equipment to support efficient operation and safety compliance. Customer communication, documentation, and coordination with installation teams help ensure successful service and project completion.

What you'll do

• Clean HVAC systems and perform preventive maintenance
• test systems and identify issues
• start up and calibrate newly installed equipment
• conduct system tests for proper operation and code compliance
• troubleshoot electrical and mechanical components
• commission systems and controls
• explain operation and maintenance to customers
• document service activities
• collaborate with installation teams and follow safety guidelines.
