Housing Case Manager

The Housing Case Manager is a hybrid remote/in-person, full-time role in Oakland, CA, with work across multiple Restorative Pathways locations and community settings. Compensation is $32 per hour. Ruby’s Place / Restorative Pathways is a nonprofit working to end domestic violence, human trafficking, and violent crime through advocacy, housing, and related services. The case manager supports individuals and families in overcoming housing barriers, obtaining and maintaining housing, and building financial stability. Client-centered planning, housing navigation, landlord engagement, referrals, and accurate documentation contribute to long-term housing stability and safety.

What you'll do

• Manage an assigned caseload
• assess housing and related barriers
• develop and review individualized case plans
• assist with housing searches, applications, landlord communication, lease-up, and move-in
• support income and benefits access
• provide referrals, advocacy, and crisis intervention
• conduct field-based services and home visits
• maintain accurate HMIS/Clarity records and required reports
• coordinate with internal teams and community partners.

Why this role

Full-time, 40 hours per week. Hybrid work arrangements are agreed with a supervisor; onsite work and local Bay Area travel may be required. Requires a bachelor’s degree in social services or three years of related experience, plus at least two years of relevant direct-service experience.
