What you'll do

• Investigate claims and determine liability
• take and document statements
• negotiate settlements within authority
• prepare claim summaries, technical reports, proofs of loss, and releases
• interpret coverage and set reserves
• manage a pending caseload across multiple lines
• review medical and investigative reports
• identify coverage issues and pursue subrogation
• attend meetings, claim reviews, settlement conferences, and mediations as needed.
