What you'll do

• Read food orders and prepare menu items according to established recipes
• wash, slice, peel, and cut ingredients
• check food for doneness
• complete assigned prep work
• maintain sanitary and safe work areas and equipment
• follow food-handling, storage, temperature, and cleanliness requirements
• coordinate orders with dining room staff
• communicate with lead cooks and sous chefs
• complete opening, closing, and other assigned duties.
