Structural Engineer

What you'll do

• Design structures for industrial, commercial, and healthcare facilities
• develop design packages using company engineering software
• apply current codes and standards
• determine structural loads
• perform steel and concrete structural analysis
• analyze seismic requirements where applicable
• maintain project calculations and documentation
• coordinate structural systems with designers, engineers, and project managers
• review contractor submittals and respond to RFIs
• conduct site visits for field investigations or construction observations as required
• develop probable construction costs
• follow safety, quality control, and project management procedures.

Why this role

Requires a bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering and at least three years of building engineering or construction experience. Familiarity with REVIT is a plus; Lean Design Practices are preferred. Software includes RAMSTEEL/FRAME, SAP2000, ETABS, SAFE, TEDDS, RISA-Connect, and RAM-Connection.
