What you'll do

• Direct, coordinate, and assign daily tasks for second-shift staff
• monitor work reports for accurate picking, loading, and inventory
• receive and put away products
• pull orders and prepare shipments
• load orders and, as applicable, pipe, pallets, and packages onto flatbed trailers using powered industrial equipment
• maintain warehouse and yard organization, cleanliness, and safety
• update management on shift progress and issues
• provide employee performance input
• train new employees
• answer after-hours calls and assist employees and customers, escalating issues when appropriate
• maintain attendance and follow safety policies.
