Embedded Software Engineer II

The Embedded Software Engineer II role is onsite in Exeter, NH. Compensation is not specified. The position supports SIG SAUER product development and improvement work. The engineer independently develops production-ready embedded software and contributes to design, testing, integration, and release activities. The role works with software and design engineers, NPI managers, test technicians, manufacturing, Quality, and Assembly to support product requirements and delivery.

What you'll do

• Design and develop software components
• contribute to development-process improvements and R&D projects
• test software and analyze data
• prepare test reports
• support release planning, deployment automation, and documentation
• troubleshoot manufactured systems and software issues
• participate in code reviews and the NPI process
• provide technical assistance to internal teams and external suppliers
• contribute to continuous improvement and 5S
• follow safety and ISO procedures
• travel infrequently.

Why this role
