Preschool Cook

The Preschool Cook role is onsite in Wheeling, IL, paying $17–$19 per hour. The Learning Experience seeks a cook to prepare daily meals for preschool children. The cook helps support children’s well-being by preparing nutritious meals, tracking food allergies, and following food safety practices. The role coordinates with center leadership on supplies and inventory and communicates allergy information to teachers with food deliveries.

What you'll do

• Plan, prepare, and cook meals that meet nutritional requirements
• track children’s food allergies and communicate identified allergies to teachers daily with food deliveries
• follow food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
• coordinate food and supply purchases with center leadership
• maintain inventory records as required.
