The technician collects and documents accurate field measurements to support surveying projects and assist the Survey Party Chief. The work helps crews, engineers, and contractors establish construction stakes, property boundaries, monuments, and control points.

What you'll do

• Operate GPS, electronic total stations, and data collectors
• collect field survey data using conventional and GPS methods
• assist with construction, roadway, topographic, and boundary surveys
• perform construction staking and locate boundaries, monuments, and control points
• prepare field notes and documentation
• maintain equipment and the assigned field vehicle
• follow safety procedures.
