Personal Care Assistant (PCA)

Job overview

The Personal Care Assistant role is onsite at an assisted living community in Newton Grove, NC. Compensation is $10–$16 per hour. Rolling Ridge Assisted Living focuses on safe, comfortable communities where seniors can thrive and provides personalized support to enhance residents’ quality of life. The PCA assists residents with daily living activities while promoting dignity, independence, and safety. The role also supports health monitoring, resident engagement, and a clean, nurturing environment in coordination with the nursing team.

What you'll do

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, meals, feeding, hydration, hygiene, and comfort
• observe and report changes in health, behavior, or physical condition to the nursing team
• provide medication reminders and monitor for adverse reactions
• build relationships through companionship and meaningful interactions
• encourage participation in community activities
• maintain clean, organized, and safe living areas
• follow infection control and safety protocols
• respond to emergencies according to established procedures.
