Registered Respiratory Therapist

Evaluates respiratory needs and develops and implements the Respiratory Care Plan for patients. Performs diagnostic tests and therapeutic procedures, managing invasive and noninvasive ventilation. Monitors patients receiving mechanical ventilation and responds to emergent situations. Educates patients and families, and collaborates with physicians and nurses.
