Full Stack JavaScript Developer (Data & Search Focus)

The Full Stack JavaScript Developer (Data & Search Focus) role is onsite in Springfield, VA. The salary range is $140,000–$170,000 per year. Metric5 is seeking a developer for a mission project supporting its NGA customer. The developer builds and maintains cloud-native web applications and supports data streaming, CDC pipelines, and search capabilities, working with Agile teams, test engineers, and product stakeholders to support application performance, user experience, and reliable data access.

What you'll do

• Build responsive interfaces with React, Material-UI, and Redux Toolkit
• develop REST APIs with NestJS and TypeORM
• write automated tests
• deploy and support applications on OpenShift/Kubernetes using Helm and ArgoCD
• tune OpenSearch indexes and data pipelines
• support CDC and streaming pipelines
• assist with semantic/vector search and data enrichment.
