The Toddler Lead Teacher role is onsite in Grand Rapids, MI, and pays $17–$21 per hour based on experience and credentials. The schedule is full-time, Monday through Friday. The Learning Experience’s early childhood education team uses its proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum. The teacher leads classroom routines and learning experiences that support toddlers’ curiosity, independence, and development. The role also supports children’s daily care, communicates with families, and collaborates with assistant teachers to maintain a safe, structured classroom.

What you'll do

• Lead toddler classroom routines and learning experiences
• implement the L.E.A.P. Curriculum
• create hands-on activities
• support social-emotional development and independence
• assist with meals, toileting, rest, outdoor play, and transitions
• observe developmental progress
• communicate with families
• guide assistant teachers
• and maintain a safe classroom.

Why this role

High school diploma or GED required. Previous childcare experience is strongly preferred; CDA or early childhood education coursework is preferred.
