The Daycare Teacher - Sustainable Early Education role is onsite in Watertown, Massachusetts. Compensation is $19.20–$28.00 per hour. The teacher supports Little Sprouts’ early childhood education program, which uses its Sustainable Education approach to support children’s learning and wellbeing. The teacher leads a safe, nurturing classroom, plans developmentally appropriate learning experiences, and supports children’s growth through observation and supervision. The role also builds family partnerships, mentors assistant teachers, and contributes to curriculum quality and sustainability practices.

What you'll do

• Design and implement daily lesson plans aligned with developmentally appropriate practice and sustainable education
• lead classroom routines and organization
• supervise children during activities, meals, transitions, and outdoor exploration
• document observations and support developmental needs
• communicate with families and participate in events
• maintain required certifications and training
• collaborate with colleagues
• coach and support assistant teachers.
