What you'll do

• Provide nursing care in medical-surgical telemetry units
• float to other units or hospitals as required
• work within the stated 1:5 or 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio
• use the facility’s Meditech electronic medical record system
• follow the solid navy scrub dress code
• work 7 p.m.–7 a.m. shifts, including holidays as required and every other weekend.

Why this role

Requires an associate degree in nursing, Alabama or compact Registered Nurse license (temporary licenses not accepted), NURSYS, and AHA BLS or Red Cross certification.
