What you'll do

• Complete coding in a timely manner
• communicate with patients, government agencies, and third-party payers
• work daily medical record billing reports
• process and follow up on claims
• review paid and unpaid claims and obtain information to resolve reimbursement issues
• assist with complex claims and aging reports
• process medical record requests
• draft appeals
• enter patient, guarantor, and insurance information
• post payments and balance daily deposits
• follow HIPAA policies and procedures.
