Equipment Maintenance Technician Level 4

Job overview

The Equipment Maintenance Technician Level 4 role is an onsite, full-time position in Solon, OH. Pay is $30–$35.50 per hour. The technician supports industrial manufacturing equipment and plant operations. The role exists to maintain equipment reliability and resolve equipment issues across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Preventive and predictive maintenance, repairs, fabrication, and improvement work help sustain equipment performance and production operations.

What you'll do

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance
• diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics
• use diagnostic equipment
• perform welding, soldering, machining, fabrication, and basic plumbing as needed
• modify components
• support predictive maintenance, root-cause analysis, and reliability initiatives
• lead shift-start meetings and coordinate maintenance priorities
• follow required safety procedures and Lean Manufacturing practices.

Why this role

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least four years of applicable industrial maintenance experience; a technical degree may count as two years. Must be able to obtain respirator certification and travel to other facilities or vendors as needed.
