Specimen Collector Phlebotomist

The Specimen Collector Phlebotomist role is onsite in Bon Air, VA, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Compensation is $18–$21 per hour. Millennium Health is an accredited specialty laboratory providing medication monitoring and drug testing services to support clinical decision-making. The phlebotomist collects and processes patient specimens and serves as a link between clinics and the laboratory. The role supports accurate testing workflows through careful collection, documentation, supply management, and resolution of specimen or patient-information concerns.

What you'll do

• Collect blood, urine, and/or oral fluid specimens
• process and package collections for shipping
• serve as an intermediary between practices or clinics and the laboratory
• record patient, physician order, and laboratory information
• resolve specimen concerns involving billing or patient information
• maintain collection supplies
• observe specimen collection when applicable
• drive between facilities if required.
