Building Engineer

Job overview

The Building Engineer role is onsite in San Jose, CA, supporting building systems across multiple locations. Compensation is $50–$55 per hour. Bevara Building Services provides building services focused on safe and efficient property operations. The engineer maintains and operates building systems, coordinates contractors, and responds to tenant and property-manager concerns. What you'll do

• Maintain and repair HVAC, building automation, electrical, plumbing, lighting, and life-safety systems
• track scheduled maintenance, tenant requests, and emergencies in work-order systems
• coordinate third-party contractors, develop scopes of work, solicit bids, and inspect contractor performance
• conduct building inspections for safety compliance
• serve as a point of contact for tenants and property managers
• troubleshoot issues and take proactive steps to support continuous operation.
