The Aquatics Coordinator — Camp role is onsite at Henry Kaufmann Campgrounds in Pearl River, NY. Compensation is $25 per hour. The role oversees aquatics programming, swim instruction, pool safety, staff schedules, and facility operations. It also supervises and supports aquatics staff and trains group counselors in swim instruction, supervision, and behavior management practices.

What you'll do

• Develop, implement, and oversee the camp aquatics program with head lifeguards
• ensure camper and staff safety in and around pools
• coordinate age- and skill-appropriate swim instruction
• schedule aquatics staff for instructional swim, free swim, and pool maintenance
• maintain a clean and safe pool facility and monitor compliance with local health and safety regulations
• train group counselors
• attend leadership meetings and staff training
• supervise aquatics staff and provide feedback.
