Food Service Team Member

Job overview

The Food Service Team Member role is onsite in Fairfax, VA; compensation is $10–$14 per hour. The position supports Saladworks and Frutta Bowls by preparing food and serving customers. The role contributes to fast-casual service by taking orders, handling transactions, preparing food to standardized recipes, maintaining food safety, and keeping the work area clean. It also includes restocking and rotating perishable inventory and responding to customer questions and requests.

What you'll do

• Take customer orders and handle cash and other transactions
• prepare and assemble food orders
• monitor inventory, restock supplies, and rotate perishable items
• provide friendly customer service and address inquiries and requests
• follow food safety, handling, and sanitation procedures
• assist with cleaning duties.
